For almost a decade, Max Lamb has been part of an ongoing exchange with Desa Potato Head and the island’s artisans -exploring how design can transform waste streams into new materials, objects and experiences. A process we call Wasted.
Now Max returns for a new chapter of the Cultural Exchange Series. We’ll revisit work developed through Wasted, experiment with new prototypes, and begin creating a new home for our design ethos within the village.
First stop: JIA Curated, with a Wasted pop-up and hands-on workshop transforming discarded cardboard from the Desa and festival into one-of-a-kind hats.
