We’re thrilled to unveil the ninth edition of our Shelter Sessions, featuring acclaimed Scottish chef Chris Smith.
From his roots in Edinburgh to over 12 years in Michelin-starred kitchens across London and Paris, Chris now leads the culinary direction at Red Gunpowder in Pererenan. His bold yet refined cooking style fuses classic French reduction techniques with vibrant Indian flavors and the aromatic spices of Bali—resulting in dishes that are both intense and delicately balanced, highlighting the best of local ingredients.
For this special night, Chris joins forces with Shelter’s very own Stephen Moore and Fran Benedicto Borges to present a one-night-only menu. Expect fire-roasted chicken tikka, vegetable rice biryani, whole fire pit lamb, smoked butter naans, and more surprises.
