*Diplo* 

1. Diplo is an American DJ, record producer, and songwriter.  

2. Diplo first gained recognition in the early 2000s as part of the electronic music group, Major Lazer, alongside fellow DJ/producer, Switch. 

3. In 2004, Diplo founded the record label, Mad Decent, which has since become a platform for emerging artists in the dance music scene. 

4. Over the years, Diplo has collaborated with numerous high-profile artists, including M.I.A., Justin Bieber, Beyonce, and Sia and more. 

5. He has also produced tracks for artists such as Usher, Shakira, and Madonna. In addition to his work as a producer and DJ, Diplo is also a member of the supergroup LSD, which includes Labrinth and Sia. 

6. The DJ has been nominated for several Grammy Awards throughout his career, including Best Dance Recording and Best Dance/Electronic Album. He won his first Grammy Award in 2021 for Best Dance Recording for his collaboration with Dua Lipa on the track, "Don't Start Now."
