Hailing from South Africa, Themba is a DJ with a string of high profile gigs & music releases. His sound is forged from his African roots, incorporating local singers, songwriters and percussionists to create his own unique & distinct take on House & Techno. 

He has been heavily supported by Black Coffee, Adam Beyer, Pete Tong, Hot Since 82 and many more of the world’s most influential tastemakers. 

After releasing on numerous high-profile labels and subsequently his own Herd label, his 2021 debut album “Modern Africa Part 1 – Ekhaya” and his renowned album “Who is Themba?” Armada Music featured a handpicked selection of South Africa’s most talented vocalists and remixers such as Black Coffee, Damian Lazarus, The Martinez Brothers, and Dense & Pika. 

The DJ is also known to claim residencies at world’s notable clubs in the world, and have performed in festivals such as Ultra, Tomorrowland and many more.
