We start inside Puri Anyar Kerambitan, a 400-year-old royal palace in Tabanan. Built in the 1620s, still lived in by the royal family today, and over the years host to David Bowie, Mick Jagger and King Hussein of Jordan. On 29 August, it hosts you.
From the palace gates you head out through the most beautiful rice fields in Bali. Jungle trail. River crossings. Walls, nets, ropes, monkey bars — and mud. Plenty of mud.
