Energising people and society as a furniture brand with the spirit of DIY + Design direct from Ishinomaki, Japan with local partners worldwide, Ishinomaki Laboratory Japan partners CushCush for its ‘Made In Local’ initiative. Featuring a selection crafted by CushCush using locally sourced reclaimed Teakwood from old traditional timber houses. Each a unique piece reflecting Indonesia’s cultural heritage.

French design meets Balinese crafts
Showcasing gorgeous collectible design pieces created by designers Marta Bakowski and Pierre Charrié as part of CCG’s Artist Designer In Residence (ADIR) program, an immersive residency opening its doors to talented French designers to propose a contemporary reinterpretation of Bali’s rich culture and craftsmanship.
• “Waste to Wonder” communal furniture
a new initiative by Jia CURATED, Waste to Wonder campaign aims to repurpose discarded materials into functional pieces through simple, low-tech techniques that reduce carbon footprints to create sustainable design solutions with a strong emphasis on education and sustainability that actively engages individuals, collectives, and foundations. Waste to Wonder communal furniture placed throughout JIA curated 2025 is designed by Millimeter Manifesto, developed and made by CushCush, with CushCush Gallery & LagiLagi as educational program partner in collaboration with ISI Bali product design, Udayana University architecture and Warmadewa University architecture.
